Inside a View-Master Factory in the 1950s
Photos from a rare factory tour reel given as a Christmas gift.
In the early 1950s, Sawyer’s, manufacturer of View-Master, created a reel to provide a virtual tour of their Portland, Oregon, factory. It was never released to the public but was given to employees and business partners as a gift. It’s pretty hard to find, but I got lucky and bought a very large lot of single reels and it included this gem.
