I was pretty busy this month and even had a work trip to Nashville, so I only finished a couple of projects. Here they are:

I made this little book nook kit my husband got me for Christmas. You can get your own on Amazon. It was pretty cute and the best part is the button to turn on the light is on the front and works very well. New tech to me!
I have a huge craft stash (even bigger than my View-Master collection) and I found a stack of dried-up paint-by-number kits as I was cleaning out some things in the basement. I decided to paint one up using some nicer acrylics I got at the art supply shop many years ago.
I was DELIGHTED with how this turned out, so then I went to a local Goodwill and picked up a frame. My husband helped me by making new mat board for it and voila:
I plan to put it up in my spare bedroom, which has a Wes Anderson’s Life Aquatic theme. I am delighted with it! I even started a second kit.
If you want to paint this *exact* scene, it was part of a delightful book/kit I bought many years ago (2004, holy crap). You can find it on Amazon and I’m sure elsewhere used. Fair warning: The paints are likely dried up but the kit includes 10 canvases that are fun and easy to paint and feature classically inspired View-Master subjects.
